Statement of Position
For Allen Logistics
 

The role of Allen Logistics (hereinafter “Allen Logistics”) is that of a broker of property having been assigned Motor Carrier Number 914580-B by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

Allen Logistics is an independent contractor.

Allen Logistics is NOT a motor carrier - common, contract or otherwise. As such, Allen Logistics does NOT take possession of cargo or property and, as such, does not assume cargo liability.

 Allen Logistics does not assume responsibility nor any resulting liability for the filing of freight claims. However, Allen Logistics stands ready to act as liaison to facilitate communications between all concerned parties.

Allen Logistics, acting on behalf of various motor carriers, abides by the regulations which apply to the carrier in regards to the transmittal of bills and invoices.

Allen Logistics acts as Agent on behalf of motor carriers solely for the purpose of collecting monies from shippers and passing on what is due to the motor carrier.

Allen Logistics requires CARRIER, where applicable, to provide proof of compliance with the California Air Resources Board Equipment Registration (ARBER) certification page.

Allen Logistics does not encourage or coerce drivers to violate Hours of Service (HOS) rules.
